When I first smelled the candle, I wasn't so sure, but when it's lit - WOW! It is a spot-on recreation of Feu de Bois that is actually affordable. Thank you so much for making this!!

Smells great in the jar but I'm not experiencing good throw. No scent in the room at all after being lit for several hours. Disappointing

Pros: customer service was pleasant.
Cons: doesn't smell anything like the diptyque scent it claims to be inspired by. It is much less complex and smells like a lot of other woodfire scented candles out there in the world, that are a dime a dozen. Most of those candles are not $40 each, either. I can't comment on how it burns over time, so I'd have to assume the wax quality is above average.

The candle and packaging look and feel very luxe. The scent doesn't immediately smell identical to the scent it's inspired by, but it's very close! I'm eager to burn it to see if that makes a difference. I appreciate the instruction to wait a week to burn it since it was poured-to-order. And the sample candle was such a nice surprise!
